Job Description

Check out this exciting opportunity to join our growing ADP team as a Production Supervisor! In this role, you will assign and coordinate the work in a manufacturing department in order to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality.

 

In this role, you will be trusted to:

  • Have authority for personnel actions and oversee most day to day operations of group.
  • Maintain log of shift operations. Prepares daily time sheets for hourly employees, production summaries, overtime and downtime reports.
  • Inspect product to verify production specifications are met.
  • Review production schedules, material and manpower resources. Assigns employees to maximize production objectives, maintain quality and attain output requirements.
  • Participate in establishing and modifying operational methods and processes by recommending changes in materials, equipment and procedures.
  • Maintain a variety of reports, records and production documentation to reflect schedules and performance.
  • Train new workers in the organization's operating procedures and standards.

Qualifications

  • Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Requires at least 5 years related experience.
  • Good work record and experience.
  • Ability to lead in a production environment.
  • Requires tact and good judgement.
  • Excellent communication skills.
