Heatcraft Worldwide Refrigeration is a long-standing leader in the world of commercial refrigeration, providing climate-control solutions to customers in more than 70 countries. Job Description

As the Manager, Product Support Engineering- Refrigeration, reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will lead a sustaining engineering team who design, fabricate, modify and evaluate complex mechanical and electro-mechanical components, sub-systems and systems of Commerical/Light Industrial Refrigeration products. 


You will serve as a liaison between Operations/Manufacturing, R&D/NPD and other cross-functional groups within Lennox’s Commercial Refrigeration business unit. 




  • Manage a team of sustaining engineers and designers. 
  • Coordinate the efforts of drafters, technical writers, engineering technicians and machine shop personnel as needed. 
  • Write test procedures, compile and evaluate design & test data and prepare technical specifications.
  • Recommend design approaches to meet production requirements for new or improved products or processes.
  • Coordinate with technical support personnel to conduct prototypes or experimental runs for products or processes.
  • Assist in the interpretation and implementation of customer specifications and documentation requirements.
  • Assist in the application of engineering principle knowledge to conduct routine analyses and/or tests pertaining to the development of new designs, methods, materials or processes.
  • Assist in conducting engineering studies



  • Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 8-10 years of related experience.
  • Understanding of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
  • Good understanding of Refrigeration/HVAC is desired; experience working with Refrigeration Commercial/Industrial is a plus.
  • Proven hands-on experience working with factory personnel is desired.
  • Experience working on custom product designs, supporting the Manufacturing and other Operations group in successfully completing Prototypes and Pilot builds.
  • Proven experience with analytical and CAD software.
  • Provides engineering subject matter expertise and support cross-functional groups for root cause analysis, problem solving, process and continuous improvement on Refrigeration products.
  • Experience with Factory-related support/troubleshooting, field issues, Engineering Corrective actions, ECR/ECN, VA/VE projects
  • Requires knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principle involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
