Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

 

As the Regional Sales Manager (RSM), you will be responsible for achieving team sales goals through distributors within a defined region, which in turn sell to dealers and end-users.

 

In this role, you will be trusted to:

  • Develop budgets and monitoring for the defined region.
  • Directly supervise daily work of channel sales representatives.
  • Set meaningful sales goals and drive performance of a sales team.
  • Influence, interpret, and implement policy and practice within the organization.
  • Participate in distributor negotiation and client development with key clients or in difficult situations.
  • Support peer functional teams and customer related matters as required to ensure quality customer focus.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8 years related experience.
  • Expert abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time.
  • Expert or specialized knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.  This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Knows principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Expert at written and verbal communication.
  • Extensive industry and product knowledge.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.
  • Skillful in managing the efforts of a sales team.
