Heatcraft Worldwide Refrigeration is a long-standing leader in the world of commercial refrigeration, providing climate-control solutions to customers in more than 70 countries. Their state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the cities of Stone Mountain, Columbus and Tifton, Georgia, produce evaporators, condensers, compressor racks, merchandise display cases and other top-quality refrigeration products for their six market-leading brands: Bohn, Larkin, Climate Control, Chandler, and InterLink. Job Description

As the Supervisor, Corrective Maintenance, you will be responsible for a team that performs Corrective Maintenance on production equipment, facilities, tooling fixtures and systems.




  • Select and develop employees to ensure an effective maintenance team is in place.
  • Schedule and facilitate safety, facility, and environmental inspections are completed on time and any discrepancies are resolved in the Magnolia, Southwell and Distribution Center buildings.
  • Manage Kronos Time keeping records for all Maintenance employees.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to Maintenance Group Leaders.
  • Prioritize and assign incoming work orders based on machine and product line criticality.
  • Prepare work schedules including overtime plans, assign work and oversee the quality of work.
  • Provide technical guidance and review assignment progress to scheduled completion.
  • Assist diagnosing complex mechanical problems and determine how to correct them by checking blueprints, repair manuals and parts catalogs as necessary.
  • Provide oversight in managing spare equipment parts inventory is maintained to ensure the correct spare replacement parts are available when needed.
  • Mentor new-hires as required
  • Manage certification of specialized PPE such has Arc Flash gloves and clothing, PPE, Body Harnesses, etc.
  • Manage and Maintain specialized Maintenance equipment such as PITs, Hydraulic crimping system, scissor lifts, boom lifts, etc.




  • High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience; a technical associate's degree and/or certification preferred. 
  • A least 5 years related experience.
  • Expert knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Expert knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings or other structures.
  • Expert knowledge of design techniques, tools, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Experience managing direct reports.
  • Excellent ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Must be able move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to provide training and work leadership.
