Job Description

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity at our Stuttgart, Arkansas manufacturing facility for someone with a passion for effective employee communication.  The Facility Communications Specialist will be a part of the Human Resources team and will lead employee communication channels for the facility, develop change management communications, assist with employer branding for recruitment and serve as a point of contact for community relations and volunteer initiatives.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Build and execute creative internal communications strategies for our Stuttgart, AR Commercial manufacturing facility.
  • Own, develop, and manage several communications vehicles including digital monitors, videos, SharePoint sites, PowerPoint presentations and more.
  • Assist with high-profile initiatives such as customer and executive visits.
  • Engage with business partners at the facility and across the organization to assist with recruitment marketing and all external communications.
  • Serve as part of the emergency response team and play a critical role in ensuring robust communications in emergency situations.
  • Leverage and embrace technology to find new and creative ways to reach key audiences, namely our front-line employees that do not always have company email.
  • Function in a team environment on various projects aimed at providing strategic solutions to the business.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism marketing, or related field
  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Adobe applications and other multimedia technologies

 

Top candidates will also have:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment or other related operationally driven environment
  • Experience in organizational and business communications, effective presentations, developing communications systems and processes.
