WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Under general supervision, supports the engineering functions for a product or a product family from design through production and transfer.

• Communicates with other engineering functions including design, process, production, quality, and reliability.
• Analyzes production methods to ensure time and cost goals are reached.
• Creates design specifications for a variety of components and systems. Analyzes design problems using engineering and mathematical principles.
• Makes design changes and prepares preliminary sketches for guidance of layout drafters.
• Consults with other engineers concerning design specifications, manufacturing processes, legal, safety, and government requirements.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Requires at least 3 years of experience in related industry.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, drawings, and models.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) software such as Windchill.
• Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
• Experience with analytical and CAD software, preferred.

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $70,000k - $91,300k and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education.
