Job Description

The CAD Designer I will be responsible for creating 2-dementional and 3-dementional designs for HVAC equipment using computer-aided design (CAD) software. 

 

What the job will look like 

 

You will be trusted to: 

  • Perform detailing, drawing, modeling, and designing on HVAC components. 
  • Improve product quality and function through design modifications. 
  • Ensure design creations include and uphold product style. 
  • Coordinate with engineering team members to understand project specifications and scope. 
  • Research material properties to identify the best materials for molding. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

What you need to succeed 

  • Fundamental knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles used to create technical plans, drawings, and models.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including, but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams. 
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills. 
  • Industry and HVAC product knowledge preferred, not required. 

Qualifications

  • Associates degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
