Job Description

  • Inspect and oversee workmanship of Lennox technicians and serve as Quality Assurance Liaison for Lennox and its customers.
  • Train Lennox Technicians to ensure overall Quality and Safety process and procedures are in place and followed.
  • Provide applicable Preventative Maintenance and Top 20 repairs training onsite to technicians and field operations
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in the HVAC field, and incorporate relevant updates into training programs.
  • Provide hands-on demonstrations and practical exercises to reinforce theoretical knowledge and ensure proficiency in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
  • Design, develop, and update training materials, including presentations, manuals, and hands-on exercises, to effectively convey HVAC concepts and best practices.
  • Address trainees' questions, concerns, and challenges related to HVAC systems, troubleshooting issues effectively, and providing clear explanations.
  • Emphasize the importance of safety protocols and procedures during HVAC operations, ensuring that all trainees adhere to industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct training sessions for clients or end-users on the proper use and maintenance of HVAC systems, addressing their specific needs and requirements.
  • Collaborate with management and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement in training programs and implement enhancements to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Proctor NATE exams by company standards
  • Must become RSES/CM certified within 1st year.
  • Contribute to the overall company culture sharing best practices, ethical behavior, and employee development.
  • Flexibility to work after hours/weekends, as required. Extensive travel.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • RSES CM Certification Required or must obtain certification within 1 year of employment. 
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • EPA Certification Required,
  • NATE certified.
  • 10+ years hands on commercial HVAC experience 
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Moderate lifting (up to 75 pounds)
  • 80 % Travel
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to self-schedule on occasion and work independently as required. 
  • Self-motivated to complete assigned tasks within allotted timeframes.
