The Technical Training and Development Specialist organizes and conducts moderately complex training and educational programs focused on information systems for end user personnelThey will also create (and post) communications, implement Change Management strategies and tactics, and complete other tasks at both organization and project level.  

Duties include, but are not limited to: 

  • Develop course content, determine teaching methodology and conduct training programsWork is reviewed for technical accuracy and adequacy. 
  • Develop, test, maintain, and deliver courses and materials used in training employees and end users in the use of ERP and other IT business applications. 
  • Establish course content and student learning objectives as needed. 
  • Prepare course syllabus, lesson plans, student manuals and coordinate the development of training assets. 
  • Conduct training sessions and develop criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities. 
  • Update course documentation on a continuous basis to ensure timeliness and relevance.  
  • Conduct Change and Training needs assessments. 
  • Develop eLearning trainings/awareness videos using a variety of Learning & Development tools (e.g., Articulate, Vyond). 
  • Develop employee-facing communication campaigns and assets (e.g., social media posts, emails, Quick Reference Guides) as needed. 
  • Be a social media enthusiast and/or comfortable with posting awareness messages. 
  • 30-50% chance of travel depending on project requirements.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

 

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Requires at least 1-year related training experience in addition to technical experience.  
  • Strong knowledge of assigned systems and the application of diagnostic techniques and service aids.  
  • Knowledge and ability to apply learning theories to virtual and in person classroom situations
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Social media influences and interest in participating in organizational change activities.

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $70,000 - $95,000 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education.
