Job Description

Under general supervision, responsible for maintaining a successful relationship with one or more large retail partner, as well as working with field sales and participating dealers to maximize sales opportunities.

Maintains key relationships and grows business with one or more assigned national or global retail accounts. Partners with the retail customer in marketing initiatives, product placement, dealer relationships, and expansion to new stores. Assists in developing and implementing retail program guidelines and training for the field sales organization and participating dealers. Assists in launching specific consumer promotions or offers with retail partners. Assists with development and production of program literature, store displays, and other creative collateral. Ensures field sales, participating dealers and assigned retail partners resolve end-consumer issues in a timely and equitable fashion. Recommends and implements strategies or programs to increase profitable sales through retail channel partners.

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 1 year related experience.

Requires expert abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time. Requires knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems. Knows principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Effective at written and verbal communication. Requires substantial industry and product knowledge. Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.
