Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Lennox Industries is a manufacturer and distributor of equipment within the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) industry.  We are guided by our core values of Integrity, Respect, and Excellence.  We have an immediate opening for a Manager, Digital Product to support our eCommerce tools.  The Manager, Digital Product works to (1) lead a team of Digital Product Owners (2) craft and implement a comprehensive product strategy (3) define the product roadmap and (4) exercise end-to-end oversight of the eCommerce product lifecycle.

As the Manager, Digital Product for eCommerce within Lennox’s Digital organization, you will have responsibility for leading the eCommerce team.  You will help steer strategic thinking for bringing industry-leading experiences to market and are able to switch gears and work on the details that make up our digital components. As part of our dynamic team, you will fuse creative envisioning together with data-informed decision-making and go-to-market strategies. You will be a key subject matter expert on best practices with online sales.

 

The Manager of eCommerce reports to the Director of eCommerce and Digital Experience.

  

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Lead, coach, manage, and develop a team of Digital Product Owners
  • Formulate compelling business cases and value propositions for the eCommerce product.
  • Translates business goals and end user needs into product strategy and clearly communicates direction and product priorities to the product team and business partners
  • Meets with users and stakeholders as needed to understand processes, pain points and system waste in order to identify where to improve the user experience
  • Determines value to the business of anticipated product updates
  • Identifies goals, metrics and appropriate analytics to measure the performance of products and continually makes recommendations and refinements to products based on learnings.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends in the marketplace.
  • Maintains overall product roadmap and support commercialization activities.
  • Looks across product teams and feature sets with a focus on alignment and dependencies
  • Removes roadblocks and obstacles that may impair product teams to help ensure delivery of the product in order to meet strategic, financial and technical goals
  • Take ownership of designated digital workplace products, overseeing technology, platforms, or services. Drive awareness, adoption, and satisfaction among users, maintaining a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ensure seamless alignment of the product with both vendor and internal roadmaps.
  • Propose and implement effective cross-selling, up-selling, and other revenue-generating strategies to enhance online revenue for Lennox.com.
  • Engages and builds relationships with customers, stakeholder and internal teams.
  • Effectively communicate product updates, changes, and enhancements to both internal teams and external stakeholders, fostering transparency and collaboration.
  • Creates business cases and value propositions.
  • Ensure strict adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards, safeguarding the eCommerce platform's compliance and reputation.
  • Take charge of all commercialization activities related to the eCommerce product, orchestrating efforts to drive successful market penetration and adoption.
  • Regularly report on assigned key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and provide weekly updates and comprehensive reports for the management teams, offering insights for strategic decision-making.

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $115,200 - $151,200 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

  • 8+ years of experience managing enterprise products or projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business, computer science, etc.).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and timeline driven with ability to handle many competing priorities, fulfill several project requests simultaneously in a changing environment, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proven experience in collaborating with business, technical and creative teams to deliver B2B/B2C user experiences.
  • Experience with web analytics and personalization tools; ability to glean and share insights with a broad audience.
  • Demonstrated track record as a problem-solver and strategic thinker with proven success
  • Experience with eCommerce strategy and development
  • Experience with web analytics and personalization tools; ability to glean and share insights with a broad audience. 
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role. 
  • Experience using data and customer insights and feedback to drive decision making and strong results. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Google Analytics experience preferred
  • Familiarity with tools such as DevOps, Jira, or similar project management tools.
  • Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Manager) is a plus.
