Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

The Strategic Sourcing Manager will partner and work together with our Facility and Real Estate teams to increase effectiveness of our Facilities procurement by streamlining accountabilities, building capabilities, and leveraging knowledge, relationships, and business strategies across markets.

This Team Member will increase efficiency of our Facilities procurement by driving scale where it makes sense, decreasing fragmentation, prioritizing higher impact areas, leveraging technology and data, and drive performance that unlocks growth for Lennox.

The role will foster and build a culture of collaboration and agility to enable an efficient project roll-out process. The Team Member will ensure close alignment in strategy with functions and Facilities Directors and Vice Presidents by defining and utilizing a robust support network for the whole team and providing clarity on the sourcing process as well as roles and responsibilities.

This team member will also be responsible for the effective delivery of Building Operations Management at the Lennox campus. The Strategic Sourcing Manager will apply best practices to improve efficiency by reducing operating costs while increasing productivity.

This Team Member will be responsible for sourcing and supplier strategy and execution for all third party spend across Facilities primarily and other categories as assigned. This Team Member will support the business requirements of Facilities to drive growth through strategic supplier management, cost and value management, sustainability, and innovation.

Opportunity Responsibilities 

  • Understand the business needs related to Facilities spend portfolios and bring deep expertise and insights across the value chain and supply base to translate the business requirements into effective future-fit procurement strategies.
  • Connect strategy & execution aligned to Lennox, Global Business Groups & Business Unit goals and priorities.
  • Together with Business Unit and Facilities teams create effective and efficient brand operating models that are best fit for brand and category.
  • Balance where to maximize the power of Lennox and where to drive brand specific solutions.
  • Act as the voice of the Worldwide Sourcing to the wider Facilities procurement community.
  • Lead rigorous execution of the priorities and transformation initiatives across the Facilities value chain with a brand & consumer lens.
  • Ensure Facilities procurement delivery of financial targets (including value delivery) for the Business Unit.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders globally, to support business and Procurement priorities and enable rapid alignment and deployment.
  • Ensure Portfolio fundamentals (i.e., data consistency, data insights, recurring stakeholder communications, contracts, etc.) are all put in place for the Business Unit.
  • Support future proofing the Facilities portfolio by driving digital approaches that help simplify the life for our brand teams, while unlocking efficiencies in the Facilities value chain.
  • Support internal performance management and reporting including creation and stewardship of relevant key performance indicators for the relevant Business Unit and Facilities teams.
  • Attend weekly venue operations meetings to ensure all works are clearly communicated across the team.
  • Lead periodic audit compliance across our business.
  • Where appropriate ensure client event de-brief meetings occur with fully documented outcomes and agreed actions.
  • To deal with any requests from your line manager or CEO, required to fulfil the need of the department or business.
  • To manage all suppliers against contractual KPIs and SLAs relating to Facilities Management and Building Operations.
  • Ensure that the highest levels of service delivery and customer experience are provided and to constantly seek to improve standards.
  • Produce an annual business unit plan in line with agreed key priorities.
  • Support the Operations Director and contribute as required in the Campus annual business planning process.
  • Produce annual Capital expenditure requests with supporting robust business cases.
  • Produce monthly activity and variance reports.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

  • 10+ years of procurement or management consultancy experience, including proven and deep experience in Facilities procurement.
  • Expert in stakeholder engagement.
  • Understanding of Facilities value chain, Facilities trends knowledge. Knowledge across multiple Facilities portfolios and supply markets.
  • Experience on large-scale project management.
  • Demonstrated and proven leadership capabilities to lead transformative initiatives.
  • Experience in shaping and leading transformational business process reengineering, with experience driving Change Management initiatives.
  • Knowledge of and passion for sustainability, including social sustainability.

  • Ability to work under pressure and in a complex global environment balancing a broad spectrum of stakeholder requirements.
  • Comfortable working in conditions of ambiguity and leading through change.

  • Tenacious and resilient in the pursuit of challenging goals.

The compensation range for this position is approximately $110,000 - $125,000 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education.
