Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • The Senior Product Specialist is responsible for supporting the Lennox Global Sourced Products Offering.
  • This includes overseeing the product research and development process from concept to launch, ensuring continuous support post-launch.
  • The specialist will maintain and enhance relationships with suppliers, actively engaging in negotiations to secure favorable terms. Additionally, the specialist must ensure that all products meet market performance regulations and certifications."

Product Performance Tracking and Technical Support:

  • Gather and consolidate market/customer information on HVAC products, including features, needs, opportunities, and trends.
  • Work closely with the sales team and factories to ensure product requirements and specifications are clear and relevant to our market.
  • Gather feedback and sales data to analyze and measure product performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Provide technical support to our Distributors, including troubleshooting, start-ups, warranties, and general technical questions.
  • Facilitate product training for TMs, GSAs, and Distributors.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams on product vision, strategies, positioning, and roadmap.
  • Work with marketing and sales teams to effectively communicate product benefits, features, and key messages.
  • Supervise the marketing team in managing product literature and ensuring the latest information is available, including submittals, manuals, brochures, specs, and product presentations.
  • Manage part information, including updates, costs, and customer prices, ensuring documents are current.
  • Coordinate with the Material Master to create catalog numbers for new equipment models and parts.
  • Oversee product certifications, including status tracking, process understanding, budget considerations, and regulatory trends."

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in HVAC products and technical knowledge, including minisplits, light commercial units, VRF, and rooftop units.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively engage with global teams.
  • A keen interest in continuous learning and enhancement of products and processes, coupled with adaptability to changing market demands.
  • A deep understanding of and empathy for customer needs.
  • Well-developed analytical abilities.
  • 50% travel
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) 

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $88k - $115k and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education.
