Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

 

As a National Account Manager (K-12) - HVAC Service Sales, you will develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales of HVAC products and services in large national accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with a few target existing or prospective national accounts.
  • Assist customers in making product selections based on customers' needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations.
  • Negotiate prices and terms of sales and service agreements.
  • Insure high post-sales satisfaction, facilitating positive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers.
  • Work on account and territory business plans on an multi-year, annual, quarterly, and monthly basis.
  • Ensure a smooth transition of account management to the appropriate Account Management parties after account relationships are properly established.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Financial and business acumen.
  • Ability to participate in matrixed sales teams.
  • Strong skills with relationship building, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales processes.
  • Knows principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Effective at written and verbal communication.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.
