Heatcraft products are primarily used to preserve food and other perishables in supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, warehouses and distribution centers, in addition to other applications such as data centers, pharmaceutical and industrial process cooling.

Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As a Sr. Application Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role working with our outside sales team, customers, and end users to provide expert guidance in both pre- and post-sales refrigeration support. Your responsibilities will span, selection, quotation, configuration, and problem solving of standard to complex refrigeration system ensuring our customers receive top-notch support and that our product portfolio is applied effectively. You will also have opportunities to work as a team contributor to our industry leading engineers for both product and software development.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support:Provide comprehensive technical assistance to customers, helping them with product selection, configuration, simple troubleshooting, and operation.
  • Training & Education: Opportunities to deliver targeted training sessions to our sales teams and customers, ensuring they are well-versed in the features, proper usage, and applications of our product lines.
  • Customization: Develop and implement customer-specific programming and parameter settings to tailor our products to unique applications.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have the following:

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Requires at least 5 years related experience
  • Excellent customer service skills, strong math and mechanical knowledge
  • Expert knowledge of calculations required for correctly applying equipment and equipment integration
  • May require knowledge of custom control programming
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to use Microsoft Office

 

The compensation range for this position is approximately $89,000 - $116,000 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education.
