Job Description

Job Summary

The Manager of Real Estate and Asset Security is responsible for overseeing the protection and management of Lennox's real estate assets. This role involves developing and implementing security strategies, managing property leases, and ensuring the physical safety of employees and assets.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Security Management:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols.
    • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and improve measures.
    • Manage relationships with local law enforcement agencies and security contractors.
  • Real Estate Management:
    • Manage the company's real estate portfolio, including property leases, renewals, and negotiations.
    • Oversee property maintenance and repairs to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
    • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders on construction projects or renovations.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify and assess potential security risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Develop and implement emergency response plans for various scenarios (e.g., natural disasters, active shooters).
    • Monitor security trends and industry best practices to stay informed and adapt strategies.
  • Asset Protection:
    • Implement measures to protect the company's intellectual property and physical assets from theft, vandalism, and other threats.
    • Coordinate with IT security to ensure the protection of digital assets.
    • Manage the investigation of security incidents and losses.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations related to security, real estate, and environmental matters.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation of security activities and real estate transactions.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in security management, criminal justice, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in security management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong understanding of security principles, technologies, and best practices.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective security strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with real estate management, including lease negotiations and property maintenance.
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance requirements.

Additional Skills (Preferred)

  • Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Certified Security Manager (CSM) certification.
  • Experience in emergency management and disaster response.
  • Knowledge of building security systems (e.g., CCTV, access control, alarms).
  • Proficiency in security-related software and tools.

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $118k - $155k and will be based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and education.
