Job Description

The Real Estate Lead is responsible for managing and overseeing the company's real estate assets, ensuring they are utilized effectively and efficiently to support the company's business objectives. This role will work closely with executive leadership, operations, and other departments to identify and address real estate needs, negotiate leases, and manage property maintenance.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Real Estate Strategy:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive real estate strategy aligned with the company's business goals.
    • Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for real estate investment or divestment.
    • Conduct feasibility studies for new real estate projects.
    • Provide strategic real estate advice to executive leadership.
  • Property Management:
    • Oversee the management and maintenance of all company-owned properties, including factories, warehouses, offices, and other facilities.
    • Negotiate leases and renewals for leased properties.
    • Conduct regular property inspections and assessments.
    • Manage real estate-related projects, such as renovations, expansions, or dispositions.
  • Asset Optimization:
    • Identify opportunities to optimize the utilization of existing real estate assets.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve property efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Manage real estate-related budgets and expenses.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify and assess potential real estate risks and vulnerabilities.
    • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
    • Manage insurance policies related to property and liability.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant real estate laws, regulations, and zoning ordinances.
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate management or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of real estate law, property management, and market analysis.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience managing budgets and financial resources.
  • Certification in real estate management (e.g., CPM) preferred.

  • Experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $98k - $128k and will be based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and education.
