Job Description

The Strategic Account Manager, Parts & Supplies is responsible for developing successful sales solutions in a complex market. They will drive parts & supplies market share through national or regional dealer accounts and e-commerce distributor accounts while partnering closely with field sales to maximize sales opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains key relationships and grows parts and supplies business with national dealer accounts and e-commerce distributor accounts.
  • Develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales and gross profit of Lennox parts & supplies business. 
  • Partners with the account in marketing initiatives, product placement, Lennox customer relationships, and expansion to new sales channels for Lennox.  
  • Responsible for the monitoring and managing enforcement of Lennox marketing, advertising and sales policies.
  • Responsible for setting, monitoring and managing of account pricing for Lennox products offered.
  • Recommends and implements strategies or programs to increase profitable sales for the accounts.
  • Responsible for managing the sales growth and profitability of the account portfolio.  
  • Facilitates vendor relationships and aftermarket sales training at the local level.
  • Negotiates prices and terms of sales and service agreements.
  • Ensures high post-sales satisfaction, facilitating positive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers.
  • Travel is expected with this position; overnight travel is expected to be about ~20%.

 

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $107,100 - $132,300 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education.

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 5 year related experience.
  • Requires expert abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time. Requires knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
  • This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Knows principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Effective at written and verbal communication. Requires substantial industry and product knowledge.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.
