Job Description

As an Intern at Lennox, you will be a part of a team of innovative and knowledgeable industry professionals. You can expect to participate in impactful, developmental projects designed for your specific area of focus. This is approximately a 10 to 12-week program that will provide you with real work experiences to grow your career and provide exposure to business leaders throughout the company.

 

Successful interns will have the potential opportunity of joining Lennox Full-Time upon graduation. Relocation and/or travel may be required for your position.

 

WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU?

    • Gain exposure to financial planning & analysis by assisting in forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting & scenario planning
    • Partner and collaborate with business functions to provide financial support and insights that support optimal decision making
    • Learn basic financial technical skills such as financial modeling, Excel, data gathering, handling big data, and data visualization
    • Assist with the financial period close process
    • Projects could include
      • Assist in creation of key forecasting models to support key revenue demographics
      • Assist in creation of new executive reporting to provide insights to the business
      • Analysis & recommendations for working capital efficiencies to drive improved free cash flow (FCF) and return on invested capital (ROIC)

Qualifications

 

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? 

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Knowledge of principle concepts for the role

  • Pursuing a degree in a related field
  • Interest or desire to lead project teams
  • Well organized & detail oriented
  • Ability to work independent as well as part of a team

Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Entry Level.

Developing professional knowledge in the area of expertise. Solid written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
