Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Internal Communications Co-op to assist our corporate communications team. The Internal Communications Co-op will play a crucial role in organizing and maintaining communication calendars, collaborating on communication strategies, and creating content that effectively conveys key messages to our internal audience.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the organization and maintenance of the communication calendar for internal messaging.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders from various departments to devise communication strategies and tactics that align with and support organizational objectives.
  • Involvement in the creation, writing, and editing of communication materials (including written content, videos, presentations, etc.) to effectively convey key messages to internal audiences.
  • Contributing to the management and update processes for the intranet and internal news.
  • Playing a key role in organizing and managing communications targeted at a global employee base.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging, branding, imagery, and corporate identity across all internal communication channels.

Qualifications

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, particularly in relationship building and influence.
  • The ability to foster collaboration among internal business teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field.
  • Highly collaborative with a desire to learn in a professional environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
