As a Business Compliance Intern, you will assist in compliance projects covering the company’s operations to determine if functional areas are operating in accordance with established policies; implementing changes as a result of compliance audits; and other accounting, compliance, audit, and finance work under direction of the Business Compliance group.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Testing business operations against control requirements, SOX Testing
• Assisting with System Access Reviews for risk mitigation in company systems
• Performing audit(s) of Lennox retail stores – potential travel opportunity
• Performing audit(s) of inventory for accurate inventory controls – potential travel opportunity
• Assisting other parts of the business with implementing new processes or controls, with the guidance of Business Compliance group
• Other accounting, compliance, audit, or finance projects as directed

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• College/University Student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance / Accounting or related business degree, with a minimum GPA of 3.2
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be well organized and detail oriented with good analytical abilities and problem solving skills
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
• Ability to quickly learn and contribute to new projects and use new technologies
• Ability to work in office at our Richardson HQ 4 days/week, WFH Fridays
