Job Description

This engineer performs an assortment of complex engineering duties such as manufacturing planning and the installation, operation and maintenance of electrical apparatus.

 

Duties include, but are not limited to: 

  • Design, implement, maintain and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components and products.
  • Provide existing support to activities through the use of electrical devices and energy for commercial, domestic and industrial use.
  • Work directly with engineers in other disciplines to augment production size and value.
  • Construct, provide install maintenance, support, documentation and participate in testing activities to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Requires at least 5 years related experience.

Understanding of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the engineering field. Experience with analytical and CAD software. Requires knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans. Excellent oral and written communications skills.

 

 

Compensation: 

This is a salaried non-exempt role. This means that employees are paid a salary and receive overtime pay when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law). The starting salary range for this role and market is between 80% – 105% annually.  Factors that may affect the starting salary include geography/market and the individual’s tenure, performance, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

 

Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.
