Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner, Strategic Integrations to lead the commercialization of third-party integrations like Field Service Management (FSM’s) within our ecommerce platform. This role will play a key part in the commercialization of these integrations, driving the business success for our API marketplace. The ideal candidate will have a strong functional background in API management, third-party integrations, and ecommerce platforms. They will work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, and customer experience and success teams to deliver seamless integrations that enhance the user experience while also contributing to the platform’s revenue growth through commercialization strategies.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

  •  Effectively communicate the API Marketplace vision and value proposition to internal teams and customers, ensuring that the product’s strategic benefits are clear and aligned with overall business goals.
  •  Drive go-to-market and commercialization efforts for the strategic integration, partnering with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to maximize customer adoption, satisfaction, and revenue growth.
  •  Own vendor management relationship with external partners (such as Field Service Management software) and work closely with customers ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process that meets both technical and business requirements.
  •  Validate and help prioritize the API Marketplace product backlog, aligning it with strategic business priorities to deliver the most impactful features to market.
  •  Collaborate with the marketing team to create and deliver compelling collateral, presentations, and product demos that effectively communicate the API Marketplace's value to customers and dealers.
  •  Plan and lead customer-facing sessions, webinars, and training workshops that demonstrate the benefits and functionalities of integrations, engaging with potential customers and partners to build awareness and drive and adoption among end-users.
  •  Create and manage success stories, and testimonials from customers that highlight the business impact and ROI of strategic integration.
  •  Coordinate with the analytics team to measure the success of commercialization efforts, tracking adoption trends to guide future strategy.
  •  Gather and analyze customer feedback to drive continuous improvements in the API Marketplace and integration offerings and facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align product development with these insights, ensuring ongoing product-market fit.
  • Develop and execute a customer retention strategy for API Marketplace users, focusing on value reinforcement, ongoing engagement, and introducing new features as they’re released.
  • Collaborate with the field sales team and our dealers to monitor the progress of integrations, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary enhancements. Additionally, conduct presentations and support marketing and commercialization efforts for our integrations? 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job will have no supervisory responsibilities.

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

There will be limited travel required for this position.  Possible travel could include 5 to 10 trips annually for commercialization activities.

 

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $97,600 - $128,100 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related area).
  • 5+ years of experience in product commercialization or product management, with a strong focus on API management, third-party integrations, ecommerce platforms, and driving market adoption.
  • Proven success in commercializing technical products, including experience developing go-to-market strategies, messaging, and positioning to maximize customer engagement and revenue.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to convey technical value propositions to non-technical audiences and drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience in sales enablement and working closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to support product adoption and customer onboarding.
  • Familiarity with customer and market research techniques to gather insights that shape product development and commercialization strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess market trends and customer needs and translate them into actionable product improvements.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and follow written procedures consistently and accurately.  Ability to effectively communicate information in response to questions from team members, managers, customers, sales reps, both verbally and in written correspondence.  Ability to maintain calm under pressure and communicate respectfully and cooperatively with other team members.

 

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to apply problem-solving skills to reach reasonable and timely solutions when faced with problems that require a service-minded attitude.
