Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing

Supervising the team that develops and applies advanced Quality Assurance/Control methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex technical problems. You will play a crucial role in overseeing and ensuring work instruction compliance audits performed by Quality Auditors.

Job duties:

  • Will lead and direct the work of Quality auditors & Hydrogen Leak Testers.
  • Review & relay opportunities for improvement with documented processes & testing procedures identified by subordinates & recommendations from fellow staff.
  • Report findings & escalations to immediate manager.
  • Reliable & flexible with day-to-day assignments – agile leadership
  • Acts with professionalism & lead by positive example – hands on leadership.
  • Ensure team compliance with leadership directives (daily, monthly & annually).

 

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Education Preferred - 4 Year degree preferred in technical area or similar experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Requires at least 1-year related experience.
  • A motivated self-starter with initiative to improve processes & procedures.
  • Good understanding of production areas, process flows, equipment, and product.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive can-do attitude with ability to adapt in an evolving work environment.
  • Ability to read specifications.
  • Ensure work instruction compliance & all subsets.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.

  • Have a good understanding of customer, requirements.
  • Effective at training & identifying gaps to correct.
  • General understand of GD&T & best practices for measurement systems.
  • General understanding of HVAC processes.

  • SAP knowledge & use.
  • Hold teammates accountable and mentor.
