Heatcraft Refrigeration is a long-standing leader in the world of commercial refrigeration, providing climate-control solutions. Their state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the cities of Stone Mountain and Tifton, Georgia, produce evaporators, condensers, compressor racks, and other top-quality refrigeration products for their six market-leading brands: Bohn, Larkin, Climate Control, Chandler, Magna Industrial and InterLink. Heatcraft products are primarily used to preserve food and other perishables in supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, warehouses and distribution centers, in addition to other applications such as data centers, pharmaceutical and industrial process cooling.

Job Description

Location:  Stone Mountain, GA (Hybrid-Monday through Thursday in the office with the option to work at home on Friday)

 

As a Technical Services Engineer Level II, You’ll provide troubleshooting assistance via email or phone support. Collaborate with different teams cross functionally with training and product support. Assist with reoccurring equipment failure, or reliability concerns and help drive continuous improvement.

 

  • Investigate, analyze and compile data to effectively communicate quality or problem description to proper departments as directed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills enable technicians to swiftly identify and address issues.
  • Assist and participate in cross-functional project teams to resolves field service issues.
  • Work with team members in preparing department reports on active projects.
  • Review new product technical data.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and ability to wire installations.
  • Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems and piping of refrigeration equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing and pipe fittings, and ability to pipe refrigeration equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of and ability to read blueprints on refrigeration, electrical and plumbing.
  • Basic knowledge of jobsite safety, ability to oversee work activities to ensure safe work practices and safety rule compliance.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have the following: 

 

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires at least 1-year related relevant HVAC experience.
  • Projects a positive and professional image at all times, assisting customers promptly and conducting all business in a friendly, courteous and knowledgeable manner.
  • Demonstrates ability to advocate, organize, problem-solve and provide root-cause results.
  • Must be physically able to climb ladders and make roof-top inspections.
  • May be required to travel and participate in Tradeshows, Marketing Events, Lennox Sales Meetings and Lennox Live Meetings.
  • Have strong understanding of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • SAP knowledge a plus.

 

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $70,000 - $92,000 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education.
