Job Description

As the Corporate Audit Intern, you will assist in compliance projects covering the company’s operations to determine if functional areas are conducting operations in accordance with established guidelines, policies, procedures and governmental and legal requirements.

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

 

  • Testing business operations against control requirements
  • Documents results and identifies deviations and exceptions
  • Assists in preparing reports that present results of the audit projects and recommended corrective actions.
  • Researches issues and may make basic recommendations to improve policies or procedures accordingly.
  • Assists the business in implementing new processes and procedures to improve on existing operations.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

 

  • High school diploma required; This is an entry level opportunity
  • Student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Finance / Accounting at an accredited college or university with a minimum GPA of 3.2
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent collaboration and teaming skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and contribute to new projects and technologies
  • Self-driven, results oriented
  • Must be well organized and detail oriented with good analytical abilities and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage time, and prioritize tasks with a sense of urgency
