Heatcraft Refrigeration is a long-standing leader in the world of commercial refrigeration, providing climate-control solutions. Their state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the cities of Stone Mountain and Tifton, Georgia, produce evaporators, condensers, compressor racks, and other top-quality refrigeration products for their six market-leading brands: Bohn, Larkin, Climate Control, Chandler, Magna Industrial and InterLink. Heatcraft products are primarily used to preserve food and other perishables in supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, warehouses and distribution centers, in addition to other applications such as data centers, pharmaceutical and industrial process cooling.

Location:  Stone Mountain, GA (Hybrid-Monday through Thursday in the office with the option to work at home on Friday)

As a Training Consultant, you'll design and develop training and educational programs in connection with workforce and management development, process improvement, on-the-job training and operator development and certification. 

• Plan and coordinate training needs assessments, management inventories, appraisals, placement and counseling.
• Maintain records of training activities and employee progress and monitors effectiveness of programs.
• Design and develop in-house programs, as well as, coordinate participation in outside training programs by organization employees.
• Provide overall guidance for training and development activities throughout the facility.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have the following: 

• Bachelor's degree is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires at least 1-year related experience.
• Solid and current knowledge of adult learning techniques, needs assessments and training program development.
• Proven track record as an effective change agent required – bringing about positive change by using influential power (vs. organizational authority).
• Must have demonstrated ability to work with teams and facilitate their development.
• Must be computer literate and have proficient knowledge relative to Microsoft Word, Excel and Project. Experience with MS Outlook, Access and SAP a plus.
• Strong verbal and written skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers required.
• Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours with little or no advance notice required.
• Self-discipline and an ability to perform all required tasks with a minimum of direct supervision required.

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $51,000 - $67,000 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education.
