Job Description

Lennox AES is a fast-growing business unit within our Building Climate Solutions segment. Across North America, Lennox AES provides installations services, adapter curbs, and recycling services enabling the delivery of "front-to-back" life-cycle integrated solutions to our customers. Lennox AES has ~300 employees, including those at 4 manufacturing locations and field crews operating in all 50 states.

 

The Sr. Manager, Human Resources (HR) provides strategic human resources leadership and serves as the senior advisor and business partner to the VP/GM on all aspects of human capital management.   As Lennox invests behind this operation, the Senior Manager, HR will support AES’ growth strategies by ensuring effective staffing and retention, partnering with the leadership team to drive high levels of employee engagement, and partnering with Lennox HR Centers of Excellence (COE’s) to deliver high levels of human resources services in compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, labor/employment law, and talent development.  The Senior Manager, HR is a key member of the AES leadership team and serves as a role model for effective, firm, fair, and innovative leadership.  This person also needs to be an inspirational leader who supports the VP/GM in building the right culture and sustaining AES’ high standards for exceeding our customers’ expectations each and every day.

  

The Sr. Manager, HR is responsible for providing strategic and functional leadership in effectively developing and deploying human capital to achieve targeted business results. Working as a key member of the Building Climate Solutions HR Leadership team, the Senior Manager, HR will identify business challenges/opportunities and develop/implement effective people solutions. The successful candidate will provide functional leadership to the HR team in Tallassee, Alabama, across a broad range of HR disciplines, helping to craft the overall HR strategy and drive detailed execution.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic counsel, coaching, and direction to business leaders on HR matters.
  • Lead the development and implementation of human resource strategies and initiatives that align with organizational goals.
  • Serve as advisor and internal consultant to senior management and business leaders on HR-related issues.
  • Develop and adapt current HR programs and policies to meet evolving organizational needs.
  • Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of HR professionals to ensure effective implementation of HR strategies.
  • Conduct regular workforce planning and forecasting to ensure the organization is adequately staffed to meet operational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and employment standards across all locations and field operations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure consistent and fair treatment of employees.
  • Recommend and drive the execution of programs and policies that create or reinforce a positive employee relations atmosphere.
  • Prepare internal employee communications regarding company policies and HR programs.
  • Oversee HR operations at 4 manufacturing locations and ensure field crews in all 50 states are supported.
  • Collect and analyze HR data to make informed recommendations to business unit management.
  • Implement HR best practices and ensure the organization is an employer of choice.

Compensation:  This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $118k - $155k annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus of 15% in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.

Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 12 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, a related field, or equivalent experience, and a minimum of 8 years of relevant HR and management experience.
  • Ability to manage HR Programs in a complex and matrix business environment.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with the ability to apply quantitative analysis to HR programs.
  • Ability to encourage communication and resolve conflicts is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed to various locations and field sites (~20% travel).
  • Experience in manufacturing environments and managing remote/field employees.
  • Familiarity with HR challenges specific to multi-location and nationwide operations.
  • Strong project management skills to handle diverse HR initiatives simultaneously.
