WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

JOB DESCRIPTION

Under general supervision, measures, analyzes and directly impacts supply chain operations, including purchasing and inventory of materials as well as selection of vendors.

• Makes recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
• Works closely with functions across the supply chain including Sourcing, Production, Supply Chain Planning, Production Control, Logistics, Distribution, Engineering, Finance, Sales and Operations Planning.
• Analyzes raw material plans and models supply based scenarios.
• Calculates safety stock and optimizes including advanced statistical functions.
• Maintains Vendor Managed Inventory.
• Maintains Kanban-based replenishment loops.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 1 year related experience.
  Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Familiar with logistics and production planning concepts (e.g., just-in-time, materials requirement planning); broad range of computer skills—database, spreadsheet, statistics applications, and logistics software packages; understand contracts and tariffs.
• Requires strong knowledge of supply chain best practices and barriers to implementation.
• Demonstrates strong financial acumen and understanding of the value chain.
• Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to investigate problems, finds root causes, and develops solutions.

COMPENSATION

This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $62,000– $77,000 annually.  Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. The full salary range for employees in this role and market is between $62,000 – $77,000 annually, with variations based on similar factors as well as tenure and performance.

Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual board based bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.  Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
