Heatcraft Refrigeration is a long-standing leader in the world of commercial refrigeration, providing climate-control solutions. Their state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the cities of Stone Mountain and Tifton, Georgia, produce evaporators, condensers, compressor racks, and other top-quality refrigeration products for their five market-leading brands: Bohn, Larkin, Climate Control, Chandler, and InterLink. Heatcraft products are primarily used to preserve food and other perishables in supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, warehouses and distribution centers, in addition to other applications such as data centers, pharmaceutical and industrial process cooling.

Location: Tifton, GA (Hybrid)

• Develop and recommend supply sources and implement long-term sourcing strategies
• Coordinate quality matters, engineering, and price changes between company components and suppliers
• Assist in negotiating and settling with suppliers regarding damage claims, rejections, losses, return of materials, over shipments, cancellations and engineering change orders
• Expedite the procurement of parts or materials in short or critical supply
• Perform market analyses and competitive evaluations

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following:

• Bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 1 years of related experience.
• Broad expertise including purchasing for lean manufacturing, Kanban and supplier development.
• Requires strong negotiation abilities and analytical skills.
• Shows exceptional verbal and written communication skills including with executives or in international contexts.
• Requires knowledge of raw materials, production processes and quality control.
• Must have knowledge of economic principles and financial markets.
• Competent in computerized procurement systems.
• Requires advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $57,000- $74,500 and will be based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and education.
