The Component Engineering group at Lennox is looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to join the team in our Product Development & Research facility located in Carrollton, TX. As an HVAC Technician at PD&R, you will assist mechanical engineers in the planning and testing of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.

 

DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

 

  • Tests complete prototype units and subassemblies under operational conditions.
  • Devise, fabricate, and assemble new or modified mechanical components or assemblies.
  • Record test procedures and results using numerical and graphical data.
  • Help prepare proposals, cost estimates and work load.
  • Assist in establishing completion dates.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

 

  • Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A two year degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • Requires at least 5 years related experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Expert knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
