Under general supervision, assists engineers/production in testing and inspecting products at various stages of the production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. 

• Selects products for testing at specified stages in production and tests such parameters as dimensions, performance, mechanical, chemical, or electrical characteristics.
• Use of inspection tools & equipment required to check production components.
• Performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products.
• Inspects materials, parts and products at different stages of production.
• Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes.
• May work in any of the following areas of quality control: incoming/outgoing material, process control, product evaluation, gage calibration, procurement of tools/gages/measurement devices as needed.

• Requires a two year degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Needs to have general knowledge of production measurement tools.
• Strong knowledge of testing methods, problem identification and awareness of potential problems.
• Mastery of basic statistical calculations. Clear written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and Word/ Teams.

This will be 2nd shift 3pm - 11pm.

Compensation: 

This is a salaried non-exempt role. This means that employees are paid a salary and receive overtime pay when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law). The starting salary range for this role and market is between $48,000 – $60,000 annually.  Factors that may affect the starting salary include geography/market and the individual’s tenure, performance, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.
