Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

 

As a Website Marketing Specialist, you will support and execute the strategy and ongoing management of our website to serve customers, attract leads and drive growth in our Lennox Commercial HVAC business.

 

This role reports to the Manager of Marketing Operations and the ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of digital marketing expertise and understanding of website maintenance, SEO strategy, UI/UX best practices and data analytics. You will help to build and execute our digital roadmap and strategy in direct partnership with IT, Revenue Operations, Field Sales, and our Marketing and Product Management teams.

In this role, your responsibilities include:

  • Content Management: Oversee both the implementation of new content and management of existing content through the Content Management System (CMS). This will range from daily updates and improvements to collaboration alongside web development resources on the creation of new pages and content designed to support a better customer experience.
  • UI/UX Optimization: Drive UI/UX enhancements in partnership with IT and web development resources. Build and maintain an understanding of customers’ needs to support UI/UX decisions and leverage A/B testing and personalization techniques to improve paths to conversion and reduce user friction.
  • SEO Implementation: Oversee and maintain SEO best practices and improvements to enhance site performance and attract leads. Partner with content marketers to optimize new and existing content and keyword-driven pages and resources.
  • Website Performance Improvements: Regularly audit the website for quality, accuracy and effectiveness and work with IT and web dev teams to optimize load speeds and address bugs and other technical issues.
  • Analytics Tools Oversight: Serve as the go-to resource in the business for Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other measurement tools to track and understand website activity.
  • Reporting & Measurement: Provide data-driven insights and monthly benchmarking to monitor website performance, identify opportunities, and ensure maximum return on marketing efforts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments including marketing, IT, sales, product management and customer service to align on website content and strategy that supports the vision and goals of the Commercial Business Unit.
  • Process Improvements: Identify and implement opportunities to streamline website management processes, workflows, CMS hygiene, and reporting formats.

**This is a hybrid role, working Monday through Thursday in the office with the option to work on Friday at home**

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, IT, communications, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience managing websites, ideally within a B2B capacity. Experience with ecommerce websites and tools a plus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Website CMS platforms (dotCMS experience a plus).
  • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools (SEMRush, Ahrefs, Moz) for site auditing, performance oversight, keyword research, rank tracking and competitor analysis.
  • Strong understanding of website visitor behavior, UI/UX principles and SEO strategy and best practices.
  • Familiarity with web accessibility standards, security best practices and multi-language support.
  • Semi-proficient understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript. While role will not require web development, the ideal candidate has a foundational understanding of these concepts and how to work with web developers to get results.
  • A proven track record in implementing website enhancements that have driven measurable results.
  • Strong eye for detail and design, and general experience using Figma, Adobe Digital Asset Management systems, and/or other design systems tools to collaborate with creative designers and developers.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills and ability to deliver high-quality work against appropriate timelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Web copywriting and/or editing experience a plus.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is $78,200 – $96,600 and will be based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and education.  This position is also eligible for commissions and bonuses subject to the company’s compensation plan.

 

Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.  Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
