Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive EDI Customer Service Onboarding Specialist to manage, oversee and optimize Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes within the customer service function. This Onboarding Specialist will help onboard new customers and drive continuous improvement. This role will ensure seamless data integration between the organization and its customers, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and satisfaction in order fulfillment and communication.

 

Duties include, but are not limited to: 

    • EDI Operations Management:
      • Lead project to improve EDI failures
      • Monitor and manage daily EDI transactions, including orders, invoices, acknowledgments, and shipping notifications.
      • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of EDI data processing and troubleshoot errors to minimize disruptions.
      • Act as the primary contact for customers regarding EDI-related issues, inquiries, and setup.
      • Collaborate with customers to understand their specific EDI requirements and ensure alignment with company systems.
    • Process Improvement:
      • Customer service expert to help co-lead continuous improvement projects for the team, working closely with Continuous Improvement Lead
      • Analyze EDI workflows to identify and implement efficiency improvements.
      • Maintain thorough documentation of EDI processes, standards, and mappings.
      • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, logistics, and sales, to streamline order processing and improve customer experience.
    • New Business
      • Be lead liaison between customer service and new business during onboarding of new customers.
      • Be point of contact for new business accounts until they are transitioned over to normal business operations.
    • Other duties as assigned. 

 

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in EDI operations, customer service, or a similar role.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in SAP and EDI platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and customers.
  • Strong project manager skillset.

WHAT WE OFFER: 

Lennox offers employees a variety of flexible work options.  This position is a hybrid role working Monday through Thursday in the office with the option to work on Friday at home.

 

Compensation:

This is a salaried non-exempt role. This means that employees are paid a salary and also receive overtime pay when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law). The starting salary range for this role and market is between $49,000 - $64,050 annually.  Factors that may affect the starting salary include geography/market and the individual’s tenure, performance, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

 

Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.
