Job Description

Lennox is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee the construction and expansion of key facilities across our national distribution network. This is a high-impact role responsible for managing ground-up builds, site redevelopments, and capital improvement projects for our supply chain infrastructure. From permitting to punch lists and final walkthroughs, you’ll lead complex construction initiatives that directly support our growth.

 

You’ll serve as the single point of contact for all phases of the project lifecycle; balancing scope, timeline, and budget while aligning cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver exceptional results.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Manage all aspects of multiple large-scale construction projects (distribution centers, warehouses, facility relocations) from concept to completion.

  • Lead site development including permitting, utilities, civil work, structural build-outs, and final commissioning.

  • Coordinate architects, engineers, general contractors, and vendors; ensure milestones are met and safety, quality, and compliance standards are upheld.

  • Develop and manage construction schedules, cost estimates, and project budgets; identify and mitigate risks that could impact timelines or costs.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between construction teams, supply chain leadership, real estate, and operations teams.

  • Review plans, drawings, and specs; ensure execution matches design intent and operational requirements.

  • Lead internal and external meetings to track progress, escalate issues, and maintain alignment across stakeholders.

  • Ensure site readiness and smooth handoffs to operational teams post-construction.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of experience managing industrial or commercial construction projects, preferably distribution centers or manufacturing sites.

  • Proven experience overseeing full-cycle build projects, including vendor management and regulatory compliance.

  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred.

  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, building codes, and permitting processes.

  • Skilled at managing external partners (GCs, architects, engineers) and internal stakeholders.

  • Comfortable leading without direct authority and navigating complex, matrixed organizations.

  • Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and construction project management tools.

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The salary range for this role and market is between $88,000-$115,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for a broad base bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
