Job Description

 

The Security Operations Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the company's asset security program to protect the physical assets and personnel of Lennox facilities. This role will work closely with operations, human resources, and other departments to identify and mitigate security risks, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain a safe and secure working environment.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Security Program Development:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive asset security program that aligns with the company's overall risk management strategy.
    • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats and weaknesses.
    • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Security Operations:
    • Manage security systems, such as access control, surveillance, and intrusion detection.
    • Respond to security incidents and emergencies.
    • Investigate security breaches and implement corrective measures.
  • Physical Security:
    • Ensure the physical security of the manufacturing facility, including perimeter security, building access control, and equipment protection.
    • Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies and other security providers.
  • Employee Safety:
    • Promote a safe and secure working environment for all employees.
    • Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans.
    • Conduct safety training and drills.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and security regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and local laws.
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address compliance gaps.

Qualifications

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in asset security or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Experience managing security personnel and teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Certification in security management (e.g., CPP, PSP) preferred.

Desired Skills

  • Experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of emergency response procedures.
  • Experience with security systems and technologies.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.

The compensation range for this position is approximately $89,000 - $116,000 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education
