Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Lead Analyst to take a leadership role in optimizing our manufacturing processes through the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions.

In this role, you will lead MES initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive process enhancements to improve production efficiency, quality, and compliance. Your expertise will ensure seamless system integration, real-time data utilization, and advanced analytics to enhance manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis, definition, and implementation of MES solutions to support manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with IT, operations, and engineering teams to integrate MES with enterprise systems such as SAP, CVT, and Run Test.
  • Oversee the design and development of MES workflows, user interfaces, and system configurations to enhance shop floor efficiency.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate MES functionality and performance.
  • Provide technical leadership and support for MES-related issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Lead training sessions and create documentation for end-users to ensure successful adoption of MES solutions.
  • Monitor MES system performance, identify improvement opportunities, and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage MES software updates, upgrades, and patch deployments, ensuring minimal operational disruption.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between manufacturing teams and IT, translating business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Ensure MES solutions align with industry standards, regulatory compliance, and data integrity requirements.
  • Drive cross-functional projects supporting operational excellence and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Stay up to date with emerging MES technologies and industry best practices, leveraging innovation for system enhancements.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven expertise in MES software implementation, support, and integration, including system configuration and testing.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, shop floor operations, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Hands-on experience with MES applications, such as Koerber (HighJump).
  • Familiarity with SAP ERP integration with MES.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL/SSRS and experience with database management systems.
  • Ability to develop and analyze functional and system design specifications.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networking, and security, as it relates to MES deployment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and guide stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for project implementation and system support.
  • Experience in training and developing user materials.
