Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

 

This analyst assists in the application of statistical and qualitative methods to optimize inventory settings, policies and practices. In addition, the person in this position will work with the organization to communicate and validate strategic inventory assortment and working capital objectives.

 

Duties include, but are not limited to: 

  • Apply statistical analysis and business knowledge to optimize inventory parameter setting.
  • Contribute to inventory management policies and processes and support implementation across locations.
  • Apply policies to determine and maintain store stock assortments.
  • Contribute to standards to track and monitor inventory results relative to objectives.
  • Coordinate with supply and demand planning to update key inventory parameters that drive the planning and execution systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 year of relevant experience in inventory optimization, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Retail and/or multi-echelon inventory networks experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in statistical software packages (SPSS, Minitab), inventory optimization technology toolsets (e.g., SO99, i2, Manugistics), and advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to apply appropriate statistical methods to large data sets.
  • Expert understanding of Supply Chain Management principles.

 

Compensation:

This is a salaried exempt role. The total compensation range for this role and market is between $70K to $92,400 annually. Factors that may affect the starting salary include geography/market and the individual’s tenure, performance, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.   

 

Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.  Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
