Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

 

Lead and implement Lennox Unified Management System (LUMS) playbooks to enhance the customer experience, share best practices and drive business excellence. This will require strong leadership, excellent communication skills, process improvement mindset, change management experience, and a passion for data-driven decision making.

 

Partner with business and functional leaders to achieve:

 

  • Maintaining LUMS repository: Maintain the LUMS infrastructure and repository putting in place a disciplined process for identification, review, and continuous improvement of LUMS playbooks and standard use templates.
  • Coaching and training: Serve as an ambassador providing training and coaching to employees at all levels on LUMS principles and methodologies to build a strong continuous improvement culture. Mentor employees on business excellence principles and practices. Incorporate LUMS in key processes such as employee onboarding and digital training.
  • Leading change management: Facilitate collaboration and change management initiatives through best practice councils across functions to deliver process improvements, technology alignment, and sustained positive results. Example functions include manufacturing, product management, revenue operations, sales training, pricing, SIOP, customer care, etc.
  • Driving process excellence: Create and facilitate workouts for rapid business process transformation by collaborating with business process owners, lean experts and IT resources to make Lennox easier to work with for both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Data analysis and reporting: Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement, track progress, and measure the impact of LUMS initiatives. Develop case studies (e.g., showcases) and repeatable dashboard reports to be leveraged across the businesses. Communicate business excellence initiatives and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Leadership initiatives: Work with executive leadership team to identify cross functional improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions across the entire value stream. Actively participate in acquisition integration so that LUMS is adopted at the acquired company.
  • Project management and accountability: Lead and manage improvement projects from conception to completion, including setting goals, timelines, and deliverables. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with standards and requirements.

  • Proven experience in successfully leading new, often partially defined, initiatives
  • Strong indirect influencing skills
  • Sense of urgency and a bias towards action
  • Good understanding of data architecture and technology system integrations
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable plans
  • Program management expertise
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred or advanced degree preferred with at least 5 years of relevant experience. HVAC knowledge, industrial or multi-national company experience a plus but not necessary.
