Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

 

As a Specified Products Manager, you will partner with independent distributors and design community partners to drive sales of our Magic Pak and Commercial HVAC products.

 

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute growth plans in a defined geographic region, which includes developing new design community Developers, Architects, and Engineers, as well as existing and new Distributors.
  • Represent the organization at Industry functions to develop new partnerships with the design community.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing accounts; providing product and application training to assist in growing targeted products.
  • Ensure high post-sales satisfaction, facilitating positive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers.
  • Partner with internal departments and other sales team members to build a platform for mutual growth and support.
  • Remote position with 60% travel. Can reside in Idaho, Oregon, West Coast
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires at least 5 years of related experience.

 

OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while juggling priorities and tight deadlines. Excellent customer service skills, principles, and processes for providing customer services which include customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Candidate must be a creative self-starter, and a highly motivated individual. Must have knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services which includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn and adopt Customer Relationship Management software platforms.

 

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

  • Must have the ability to effectively communicate and present.
  • Advanced industry and HVAC/R product knowledge preferred.
  • Experience in Two-Step Distribution Model preferred.

WHAT WE OFFER: 

 

Compensation:

The total compensation range for this position is $117,000 to $153,900 and will be based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and education. Under the plan, target compensation is anticipated to be 70% base salary and 30% commission.  New hires are guaranteed to receive at least the target commission for six months.  Company car and Fuel card provided.

 

Benefits:

Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 10 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
