The Sales Effectiveness Lead, Marketing Cloud will assist in optimizing the Marketing Cloud platform and providing technical expertise in our utilization of the Marketing Cloud for campaigns and journeys for Lennox Residential HVAC.  This role will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and IT to ensure that the Marketing Cloud platform is leveraged to its optimal capabilities.  The Sales Effectiveness Lead for Marketing Cloud will act as a hands-on subject matter expert on wide-scale projects including email / text / SMS marketing campaigns, customer experience solutions, data segmentation, and customer journey mapping.

 

The Sales Effectiveness Lead for Marketing Cloud will create processes and procedures that monitor and enforce data governance policies for Sales and Marketing in relation to the setup and configuration of the Salesforce.com Marketing Cloud.  This individual will play a key role in the determination of how we collect and process new and existing data to help with the setup and expansion of marketing journeys and campaigns. The Sales Effectiveness Lead for Marketing Cloud will track and resolve data related issues to ensure seamless campaign execution.

  • Be the day-to-day lead for Sales Effectiveness for assigned Marketing Cloud projects, functional groups, and initiatives.
  • Serve as a senior subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures associated with systems and applications.
  • Guide the on-going platform configuration and data integration needs to run effective automated email / text / SMS campaigns.
  • Enforce processes and procedures to uphold data hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with data governance policies across Sales and Marketing functions within the Salesforce.com Marketing Cloud environment. 
  • Develop scalable solutions based on business objectives, marketing metrics, and technical requirements.
  • Assist with the planning of application changes, development, and installation of upgrades and new releases for the Marketing Cloud.
  • Integrate multiple systems with Salesforce and Marketing Cloud, including internal proprietary and third-party applications.
  • Responsible for QA, testing, debugging, and developing user documentation related to the configuration and deployment of applications.
  • Work with key stakeholders across support functions to provide visibility to metrics that will drive proactive coaching and training.
  • Work with internal support functions such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Stores for the purpose of improving operational efficiency.  
  • Recommend changes to current techniques, procedures, or efforts based on market research and new trends in Marketing Automation, Sales Effectiveness, CRM, and Integration.
  • Work with the cross-functional teams to glean requirements and feedback for new projects and enhancements to CRM functionality needed for Marketing Cloud program execution.
  • Educate others in the workflow, business processes, and analytics enabled by assigned functions and applications.

This is a salaried exempt role. The salary range for this role and market is between $108k – $141,750 annually.  Factors that may affect the starting salary include geography/market and the individual’s tenure, performance, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

 

Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.  Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and certification.
  • Requires at least 5-8 years related experience. 
  • Requires an advanced understanding of Marketing Automation and CRM development practices, integration methods, Center of Excellence methodology, toolsets, and strategies with the ability to review market trends to identify likely impact on sales and company performance.
  • Experienced with Salesforce.com Marketing Cloud and CRM configuration, development, administration, maintenance, and support. (SAP, MuleSoft, Qlik experience is a plus)
  • Advanced knowledge with marketing automation, segmentation, and campaign management is critical. (Email creation, landing page development, and HTML experience is a plus.)
  • Expertise with configuration and management of Salesforce.com Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud permissions and roles.
  • Knowledge in the following core technologies of the Force.com platform for Salesforce.com development: Apex, Lightning Component Framework, Visualforce, Flows, and Triggers. (Java, SQL, SOQL, Web Services experience is a plus)
  • Expertise with Salesforce Partner Communities, Lightning Process Builder, and Visual Flows is highly desired.
  • Experience in migrating data and customizations across Salesforce.com Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Programs including Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.  
  • Keen project management skills with an ability to interact with and motivate others to succeed on several fronts simultaneously.
  • Effective verbal and written communication on all levels, both internally and externally, including presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, analytical, quick learner, organized, detail-oriented, and multi-tasker.
  • Prioritizes workload and meets deadlines for a variety of "deliverables".
  • Demonstrates initiative with a results orientation, while exhibiting strong drive and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
  • Expert ability to analyze data and organize it into useful information.
  • Communicates effectively with end users, IT staff, third-party partners, and executive leadership.
