Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As a Sr. Field Service Engineer, you will guide technical service teams in refrigeration pre-sales and post-sales by providing technical support including the commissioning, installation, testing, and maintenance services to customers for Heatcraft equipment.

 

  • Provide customers and their assigned agents technical support in proper installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and operation of Heatcraft products both remotely and at job sites.
  • Provide necessary training to customers and their assigned agents on the features and proper use, component calibration, and application of Heatcraft product lines.
  • Will be required to provide customer specific programming and parameter settings for custom applications as needed.

Qualifications

Location: This position is 100% remote

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have the following:

 

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires at least 5 years related experience in the commercial and industrial refrigeration field.
  • Must have universal certification with section 608 of the EPA Clean Air Act or have universal certification within 90 days of employment.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge required including expert knowledge of commercial and industrial refrigeration installation practices and equipment operation for correctly setting up, maintaining and servicing commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment.
  • Knowledge of custom control programming.
  • Able to effectively use and apply Microsoft Office and various supplier software tools.
  • This position requires extensive travel via commercial airlines and automobiles a minimum of 60% of the work schedule.
  • You must possess a valid driver license.

 

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $93,000-$121,500 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education.
