WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Leads a team that drives the successful analysis of the pricing of the organization's goods and services to stay competitive in the market.

  • Drives the pricing strategy across various products, channels, geographies and customer classes.
  • Develops methodologies to enhance the Company’s ability to capture more value through their pricing activities; instills value-based pricing philosophy for setting prices, changing prices and deviating from list prices.
  • Drives strategic change and enhanced pricing/profitability rigor to the current framework and establish a structure that will drive enterprise sales across various market segments, products and solutions and increase net income.
  • Drives critical analytical insights to maximize profit by optimizing price.
  • Develops methodologies using established pricing models and analytical tools, to provide guidance on strategic pricing decisions and improve net income generation.
  • Manages pricing tactics including configuration, discount structure and tactical implementation as relevant to each business unit.
  • Develops innovative pricing solutions that minimize discounting.
  • Establishes and approves pricing strategy for products and services based on market review and competitive intelligence.
  • Elevates the analytical skills and financial acumen of direct reports, peers, cross-functional partners.
  • Monitors, forecasts, and drives results to optimize price attainment, revenue and margin.
  • Manages the staffing, work, development and performance of assigned employees.

This is a salaried exempt role. The salary range for this role and market is between $123,200 – $161,700 annually.  Factors that may affect the starting salary include geography/market and the individual’s tenure, performance, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

 

Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.  Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime. 

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

  • Requires at least 8 years related experience.
  • Requires at least 3 years’ experience as a manager.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence decision-making at senior levels in an organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance stakeholder and balance strategic and tactical priorities
  • Emphasis on cross-functional partnership with a bent toward driving results

Preferred

  • Practical experience in pricing, sales operations, sales finance, or related fields.
  • Background in management consulting a plus
  • Business-oriented understanding of planning and analytics practices for sales process, modeling, operations, management, and sales finance.
