Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

 

As a Strategic Account Sales Specialist, you will function at a very high level with respect to volume and efficiency of timely processing of customer quotations, orders and resolution of customer disputes with minimal supervision. Additionally, this role will share continual responsibility with the Team Lead for established work procedures and processes that support company and departmental standards, procedures and strategic directives.

 

Additional responsibilities:

  • Shares a portfolio of customer accounts within a team setting and collaborates to complete work in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Responds to complex customer inquiries via phone and email with a high level of professionalism and finesse.
  • Project manages multi-site jobs entailing a high volume of quoting, order conversion, follow-up, and delivery releases to meet all required jobsite deadlines.
  • Establishes and maintains good customer relations by providing timely, professional, and accurate service to internal and external customers.
  • Works closely with the salesforce to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Provides direction to less experienced team members.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • 5+ years related experience.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and CRM software effectively.
  • Experience with SAP preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Effective at written and verbal communication, including effective listening skills.
  • Ability to handle difficult or emotional customer situations.
  • Strong problem solving and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize competing demands.

This position is a hybrid role that works Monday through Thursday in the office with the option to work Friday remotely.

Compensation:

 

This position includes a base salary and commission. The compensation range for this role is 95% base salary plus 5% commission. Compensation is based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and education.
