Job Description

The Commercial Credit Analyst reports to the Supervisor of Commercial Credit Services.

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Conduct daily collection calls and periodic customer visits to resolve account receivable balances. This includes contact by telephone, email and/or through customer portals.
  • Build internal and external customer relationships in a professional manner.
  • Timely reconcile and resolve billing issues within assigned portfolio(s).
  • Review and approve Commercial job sheets.
  • Responsible for protecting all lien rights on jobs over $40K within assigned portfolio(s).
  • Remain in rollover phone system while assisting with incoming calls.
  • Will resolve moderately complex credit problems and request assistance on highly sensitive accounts.
  • Regularly communicates with Sales, Billing, Branches and other departments regarding past-due accounts.
  • Will review order holds and make recommendations on hold/release within established department guidelines.

 

Qualifications

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other productivity software systems. Advanced Excel skills are required.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Get Paid are highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Construction credit and bond/lien laws.
  • Strong analytical, numeracy and research skills.
  • Solid customer service and negotiation skills.
  • Prior experience working with remote teams.
  • Ability to build relationships with both remote and in-office teams, including but not limited to Sales, Billing and Branch personnel.

The compensation range for this position is approximately $56,000 - $73,000 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education
