Heatcraft products are primarily used to preserve food and other perishables in supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, warehouses and distribution centers, in addition to other applications such as data centers, pharmaceutical and industrial process cooling.

Job Description

As the Sr. Refrigeration Technical Support Agent, you will provide post-sales refrigeration support, which includes the commissioning, installation, testing, maintenance and training services to Heatcraft customers, end-users and field sales both remotely and at jobsites. Proficient in the principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

  • Provide customer technical support in the setup, configuring, troubleshooting and operating of Heatcraft products via phone and email communications.
  • Provide customer-specific troubleshooting assistance for Heatcraft equipment and related controls.
  • Provide training, as required, to the sales group and customers on the features, proper use and application of Heatcraft products.
  • Coordinate with various Heatcraft functional areas, as needed, in the resolution of technical field issues and the identification of their internal corrective actions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product development teams as needed to support successful go to market.
  • Up to 20% travel may be required as needed.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have the following:

 

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience working with HVAC/R control systems such as intelliGen, Emerson E2/E3, Danfoss controls, Carel controls, MCS (Magnum/MicroMag), and/or Beacon II QRC.
  • Professional experience with the Refrigeration systems is highly desired.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding both electrical schematics and piping diagrams.
  • Proficient in use Microsoft Word and Excel.

 

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $90,000 - $118,500 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education.
