Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

 

The individual in this position is responsible for leading and directing plant operations with a critical eye for the development of overall performance goals, objectives, operating budget, talent development, integrating safety throughout the manufacturing campus.

 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Develops manufacturing objectives to meet and exceed customer requirements on time.
  • Provides insights on available capacity, manufacturing capability, and demand; identifies opportunities to improve efficiencies, develops and implements plans ensuring alignment with division and corporate strategic plans.
  • Leads with a sense of urgency, accountability and collaborative solution orientation across all assigned departments and teams with a focus on communicating work prioritization and minimizing disruptions.
  • Foster an environment that encourages employee engagement through demonstration and modeling of Lennox and ADP’s Core Values and Guiding Behaviors.
  • Drives performance execution through personal accountability across all departments.
  • Leads and develops direct reports and others through coaching and development plans.
  • Effective and efficient management of capital projects.

 

 

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

 

  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Master’s Degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • Requires at least 8 years of progressive responsibility in manufacturing operations with at least 3 years of management experience.
  • Requires extensive understanding of critical manufacturing and operations metrics
  • Ability to develop and leverage data to quantitively and analytically make business decisions and take smart risks.
  • Demonstrate experience in leading, developing, retaining, engaging teams and individuals; fostering an environment to support the development and growth of the plant and its workforce.
  • Proven experience in leading a diverse team – setting vision, strategy, tactics, and delivery; strong change management skills; aligning and bringing others along- act to improve culture, process, products; and proven ability to understand the organizational impact in decision making; see the big picture and translate it into action plans.
  • Highly adept performing at a fast pace, communicating and collaborating across multiple stakeholders.
  • Has experience with multiple operations related experience such as IT, Materials, Shipping, Quality and Production Control.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal); leading and presenting materials for various audiences.
