Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

This planner balances supply with demand for finished goods or repair parts to ensure that targeted customer service rates, inventory levels and working capital goals are met. In addition to being responsible for aspects of developing inventory supply plans, the planner is responsible for the key metrics of network and facing fill rates, inventory turns and inventory working capital along with identifying supply planning system and process improvements.

 

Duties include, but are not limited to: 

  • Calculate/validate inventory targets and order quantities.
  • Perform inventory segmentation.
  • Manage inventory of new and phase-out parts.
  • Validate and meet the monthly inventory days of supply and facilitate the reduction of excess inventory.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in Supply Chain/Logistics Management or Business Administration.

Requires at least 1 year Production Planning / Inventory Management experience.
Experience with advanced planning tools, preferably SAP APO/PP-DS a plus.

Possess knowledge of Supply Chain Management.

Good understanding of best practices in supply planning.

Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and training skills.

Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced, high volume environment.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills, attention to detail, and solid Customer Relations skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.

 

WHAT WE OFFER: 

This position is based in the office, Monday through Friday. 

 

Compensation

This is a salaried exempt role. The salary range for this role and market is between $62,400 – $81,900 annually.  Factors that may affect the starting salary include geography/market and the individual’s tenure, performance, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

 

Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.  Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
