Job Description

Our Core Values of Integrity, Respect and Excellence are more than just what we say, they are what we do!

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Lennox is transforming the HVAC industry by delivering smarter, more connected experiences for homeowners, dealers, and service technicians. We are seeking a Principal Product Manager, SW Services to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our mobile applications for technicians and homeowners, service dashboards, and emerging energy service integrations—including partnerships with DERMs and energy aggregators.

This is a pivotal role for a strategic, customer-obsessed leader who thrives in complex, cross-functional environments and can operate from 0 to 1. You will drive digital product innovation across a multi-platform ecosystem that impacts how Lennox interacts with its dealer partners, service professionals, and customers in the field and at home.

Lead with Vision

  • Own and evolve the multi-year roadmap for technician-facing mobile apps, homeowner experiences, and service operations dashboards.
  • Translate HVAC service workflows, digital customer journeys, and energy ecosystems into scalable, intuitive software products.
  • Define and execute the strategy for third-party integrations and energy services (DERMs, demand response, grid services) in partnership with our smart thermostat and cloud platform teams.

Be the Voice of the Customer

  • Build deep empathy for service technicians, dealers, and homeowners through regular VOC (voice of customer), user research, and field observations.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative insights to shape product hypotheses, prioritize features, and iterate quickly.

Drive Cross-Functional Execution

  • Partner closely with engineering, design, UX research, sales, and marketing to drive product outcomes from concept to launch.
  • Collaborate with Lennox IoT platform, controls, and mobile engineering teams to ensure seamless end-to-end system integration.

Deliver Business Outcomes

  • Define and monitor key success metrics, including adoption, engagement (DAUs/MAUs), service efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop business cases for new service features and energy programs, aligned with Lennox’s growth goals and sustainability roadmap.

Expand Our Ecosystem

  • Identify and manage technology and service partners to accelerate Lennox’s capabilities in energy optimization and smart services.
  • Evaluate APIs, third-party platforms, and data-sharing partnerships that can deliver new forms of customer value.

WHAT DRIVES SUCCESS:

  • Drives Results: You show pride in “getting the job done” with a bias for action, going above and beyond to ensure your responsibilities have been met. During high pressure moments, you work diligently to meet deadlines and show value in your work.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Management, with at least 3+ years leading B2B or B2B2C mobile or SaaS platforms.

  • Experience working with technician or field service applications, customer support dashboards, or IoT-enabled platforms.
  • Strong understanding of mobile UX, connected devices, and API ecosystems.
  • Prior experience working with DERMs, utility programs, or energy service platforms is highly desirable.
