Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

 

The Manager of Inventory Deployment Planning oversees the processes of distributing and allocating inventory across the network, ensuring our products reach the right place at the right time. This role leads a team of planners who monitor and mitigate inventory risk, minimize waste, and support sales channel growth.  Additionally, this role ensures the success of critical Supply Chain optimization initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies for deploying inventory, considering factors like demand forecasts, warehouse capacity, transit and lead times, and supply chain constraints. 
  • Maintain optimal stock levels, minimizing excess or obsolete inventory while ensuring product availability to meet customer demand. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Supply Planning, Sales, Transportation, and Operations, to align inventory deployment strategies with business objectives. 
  • Identify opportunities to enhance inventory management processes, including automation, technology adoption, and best practice implementation. 
  • Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures and implement risk mitigation strategies to prevent stockouts, damages, or losses.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

 

Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 8 years related experience.

 

  • In-depth knowledge of inventory control practices, including forecasting, planning, and optimization. 
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. 
  • Experience in managing projects related to inventory deployment and process improvement. 
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or other relevant software. 

Compensation:

The total compensation range for this position is $96,800 – $127,050 and will be based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and education. Factors that may affect the starting salary include geography/market and the individual’s tenure, performance, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. 

 

Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.  Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.

Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 10 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
